Min Yoongi is one of the rappers, songwriters,s, and producers of the BTS boy band. His stage name is “Suga” and also “Agust D”. Suga was born on 9 March 1994 in South Korea, Daegu. He was selected in the audition of Big Hit Entertainment and debuted in the BTS band as a rapper in 2013. Suga released his first mix tape “Agust D” in 2016. In 2018 he released his second mix tape D-2 and it peaked at number 11 on the US chart Billboard 200, it peaked at number 7 on the UK albums chart also number 2 on Australia’s Area Album Chart.

He graduated from the Global Cyber University with the degree in Broadcasting and Entertainment in March 2019. When he heard “Epik High’s” songs he decided to be the rapper. Suga became interested in rapping after hearing "Ragga Muffin" by Stony Skunk. When he is 13 years old he started to writing song and learnt about MIDI. By age 17, he worked a part-time job at a record studio, from that time he started to rapping, composing and arranging songs. He also joined in hip hop crew D Town in 2010 named Gloss as an underground rapper. After he auditioned for Big Hit Entertainment he selected as a rapper and trained for 3 years with other members J-hope and RM. He debuted as a member of BTS by their first song 2 Cool 4 Skool. Min Yoongi released a solo intro entitled “Intro: The Most Beautiful Moment In Life pt 1” the lyrics is about fears of reaching the adulthood and it released on 17 April,2015 with the animated music video. Suga performed another intro “Intro: Never Mind” of “The Most Beautiful Moment In Life pt 2” the lyrics is about his teenage years and released on November 15, 2015 adding the intro for BTS 2016 “The Most Beautiful Moment In Life: Young Forever”. After it Suga didn’t performed any another introductory track for BTS until 2020.

 For album “Map Of The Soul 7” he released "Interlude: Shadow" that discusses the BTS fame and comparing its reality to the celebrity that they dreamed about. The song was released on January 10 also with the music video referencing their struggles of fame. BTS released their new album “Wings” and Suga performed two tracks in it, first is “First Love”. On 2018, in their “Love Yourself: Answer” Suga released his song "Trivia: Seesaw" the lyrics is an about ‘up and down nature of falling in love’. In this same year Suga awarded the Hwagwan Order of Cultural Merit with the fifth class as a member of BTS by the president of South Korea along with the BTS members.

Last year he was appointed “Special Presidential Envoy for Future Generations and Culture” with President ‘Moon Jae-in’ for helping "lead the global agenda for future generations, such as sustainable growth" and "expand South Korea's diplomatic efforts and global standing" with other members of BTS.

Suga can play piano and also produces the R & B and hip hop music. He writes the songs with full of dreams and hope that gives people strength with its lyrics.
